From Tripoli, venture to Ano Doliana, a picturesque mountain village perched on the northern slopes of Mount Parnonas. Here, you'll find yourself surrounded by the serene beauty of the Greek highlands. Continue your adventure to Agios Petros Kynourias, an idyllic cedar-covered area on the slopes of Mount Parnon, where the impressive Malevi Monastery stands as a testament to the area's spiritual heritage.
The adventure continues as you traverse the Peloponnese Mountains, taking on various walks that immerse you in Greek mountain life and Byzantine architecture. With five carefully chosen hotels, you'll have ample opportunity to experience the diverse landscapes and rich cultural tapestry of the region. As the day turns to night, indulge in the region's culinary delights. Savour the layers of moussaka, the tantalising aromas of freshly grilled gyros, and the sweet pleasure of pistachio ice cream. After a few days immersed in the mountains, your journey takes a delightful turn to the coast. Gaze upon breathtaking sea views from the Castle of Paralio Astros, a historic fortress built in 1256 AD, which overlooks a charming harbour village below. Following your exploration of the castle, unwind on the beach and enjoy a refreshing swim in the sparkling turquoise waters.
If you arrive in Tripoli in the morning, begin with a visit to the Metropolitan Church of St. Basil, known for its impressive Byzantine architecture. Explore the Archaeological Museum and then head to Areos Square for a leisurely stroll.
