On our 8-night Walking Portugal’s Land End trip where you can explore the unspoiled Sagres Peninsula, you’ll enjoy a rustic stay in Aldeia da Pedralva. Once known as the abandoned village of Vila do Bispo, the owner, Antonio Ferreira, intervened and worked with the council and municipality to lovingly restore the village to its former glory. Now, Aldeia da Pedralva tastefully reflects the region’s rich heritage and fascinating history with 24 dazzlingly white buildings, complete with a Gourmet Grocery and two restaurants that prepare typical Portuguese fare using local produce from the area.
