Everyone who goes on a Headwater holiday will be emailed a link to our post-holiday questionnaire where they can give us an honest assessment of all aspects of their holiday - everything from how quickly we answer the phone to how clean the hotels were - plus an overall rating and comments about their holiday.
Any feedback collected is posted to our website, so that people can make an informed decision based on past experiences before heading off on holiday. We don’t edit the reviews, the only thing we do is proofread them and alter any typos, where necessary, to ensure they are easy to read for everyone. All reviews will be published (except in certain extreme circumstances), and a member of the Headwater team will respond to any constructive criticisms/comments under the reviews, at their discretion. An amazing time exploring beautiful Puglia. Accommodation excellent, Agents Marco and Claudia friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this holiday to anyone who wants to enjoy the walks, scenery and history of this beautiful destination.
The experience was great. The places we visited were varied and extremely interesting. The organised events such as the Bread making, Wine tasting and guided tour of Matera were really excellent and not to be missed.. The Trulli Houses of Alberobello were well worth vsiting as they are so unique. However it was busy when we were there but not uncomfortably so, but I would think at it its busiest it could become extremely crowded.
Relaxing and interesting holiday enhanced by good organisation, well chosen hotels and activities
The holiday itinerary was well planned and the booked activities such as wine tasting, bread making and the guided tours were excellent. The app was really useful for getting around and my clients had an enjoyable holiday. The only thing they missed was somewhere outside to sit and relax at the hotels. As a result they felt they had to keep busy all day so didn't come back feeling relaxed but they had a good time.
Our experience was very positive. We absolutely loved the bread making and the tour of Matera. Both guides on these tours were exceptional.
