Everyone who goes on a Headwater holiday will be emailed a link to our post-holiday questionnaire where they can give us an honest assessment of all aspects of their holiday - everything from how quickly we answer the phone to how clean the hotels were - plus an overall rating and comments about their holiday.
Any feedback collected is posted to our website, so that people can make an informed decision based on past experiences before heading off on holiday. We don’t edit the reviews, the only thing we do is proofread them and alter any typos, where necessary, to ensure they are easy to read for everyone. All reviews will be published (except in certain extreme circumstances), and a member of the Headwater team will respond to any constructive criticisms/comments under the reviews, at their discretion. So, for the real tales, twists and turns of our holidays, look no further than the reviews from our previous travellers.
Over all good - not sure how many people go to Kandersteg as there seem to be little information on to be guaranteed snow need to go up cable car and you require a pass.
We had an excellent holiday. We received refunds for unused ski passes and ski hire promptly. Due to the lack of snow, most of our days were spent on walking routes; it would have been helpful to have self-guided information for winter walking, in view of the lack of snow for cross-country skiing. The travel arrangements went smoothly and the hotel was excellent in all respects.
The experience was overall very good. A couple of pointers about the trains would’ve made it clearer about the platforms/connections etc but all worked out fine in the end. There was poor communication from the ski school so our second lesson was cancelled unfortunately. This was not the hotel’s fault.

Good hotel. Pity there was so little snow as this restricted our skiing significantly.
This was a delightful experience, with all the necessary practical elements thought through and put in place. We enjoyed every part of it.
