REVIEWS

We booked 3 simultaneous Headwater cycling trips, 2 in Portugal and 1 in Spain. We enjoyed them all, the particular strong point being the high quality accommodation. The bicycles could have been better e.g. with suspension during the Mountains to the Sea in Portugal as there were a lot of rough tracks and cobbles. The Porto Coastal cycling was very easy and totally relaxing. The unspoilt Costa Blanca included one very difficult day on a very rough narrow track which some (including me) may find challenging. However, the views were beautiful!

Miranda Greg, 22 Jun 2024

Good however the eather was rather inconsistent some days with heavy rain. The bikes are not geared to cope with adverse weather they are only fair to good weather bikes. And regardless the rain was to heavy and cold to cycle in. I think it maybe better to start this trip a little later in the year as it's to unpredictable this time of the year weatehr wise and some of teh hotels were not offereing any services e.g the first hotel had no restaurant / bar or any other service open. Headwater Custome service was excellant especially Paula!
